In 2011, we will have freshman and senior senators to meet with and educate on why marriage equality matters to their constituents and to New Yorkers.  We will be further developing relationships with our legislators so we can call on them to make the right decisions for our community. MENY has reserved conference space in the building connected to the legislative and capital building (where the meetings will take place). This will give us easy access to our meetings. We also will have volunteer staff on hand for this event and buses from Buffalo, Rochester, Staten Island and Manhattan going to Albany for this day.
