Wedding March 09

The Wedding March is happening as a contingency within the larger National Equality March in Washington, DC on Oct. 11, 2009. We are organizing marriage contingencies and networking events, in conjunction with Marriage Equality USA to further foster a connectedness on a national level. We are working with NEM to direct marriage groups to the resources needed to attend the march. If you are traveling with MENY and haven't received your bus info- please email info@meny.us. To help fundraise for this event- scroll to bottom of this page.

Umbrella and T-Shirt

We will have limited available on the day of the march, but if you waited until last minute you can go to Annie's Steakhouse on Sunday between 9:30-11:00am and see if we have any umbrellas and t-shirts left.

When marching with the marriage contingency (organized by MENY and MEUSA) you get your own MENY Wedding March colored t-shirt and matching umbrella for the Wedding March. We will then line up together, in rainbow order (R,O,Y,G,B,P) to form a marching rainbow within the greater march. For a suggested donation of $10 you get to be part of this movement and get a cool umbrella and t-shirt with it. This option is for people who will be in DC by Sunday and can come to Annie's Steakhouse between 9:30 and 11am to check if we have a shirts and umbrellas left. (Remember if you registered then we will have one for you)
